Rooted in Grimsby and spoken in the town’s own language, Ørsted’s hyper-local campaign celebrates the people powering Britain’s offshore wind industry. Led by a film starring local cult icon Thomas Turgoose, it moves the conversation away from distant net-zero targets and towards what the transition means on the ground – honest work, decent pay and pride in the town. Rolled out across cinema screens, billboards, print and digital, Up the Town, Down Dock connects Grimsby’s maritime heritage with its future as a hub for offshore wind. More than a campaign line, it’s a cheer for the town itself.
